So what’s the story here?

In a #GarageGivesBack project with Autism Village Foundation, we are moving into the old Vinnies/Stickman's building. The non-profit Autism Village Foundation purchased the property and this is another element of our community social responsibility to develop and improve hospitality vocational opportunities for special needs young adults and adults. Our food trucks and mobile bars as well as our event space at the Flowing Springs Inn are all owned by Autism Village and operations benefit these efforts. Look for an exciting announcement in the fall for an all special needs run morning cafe at The Garage, The Kindness Cafe, which we plan to launch in partnership with the school district and CCIU, and our many friends in the local special needs community.

Once the building is ready, we plan to launch a distillery featuring distilled spirits and chef-designed cocktails from our own Chef Krasley along with other local PA producer beers and wines. The menu for the tasting room will be casual, fresh, and handcrafted tasty dishes. We will continue to have and expand the outside seating starting with the food truck now and developing it into a fun outdoor experience. We also plan to have great coffee and cafe service which we are developing with our friend and amazing coffee roaster “Hobo” Ed Humpal. Hobo Ed’s coffee is a local favorite at Kimberton Whole Foods and Steel City coffee houses. Ed is a true coffee guru and we are excited to have his brew available here in Chester Springs.

Come on out and check out the food truck at the old Vinnies/Stickman location at Rt 401 and Rt 113. Please help us get the word out as we need to make some good traction with this to launch the Kindness Cafe to provide practical work opportunities for special needs folks in our local communities.
